A child’s first five years form the foundation of their lives, and at Carousel we strive to deliver an excellent standard of education and care that ensures all children are given the building blocks they need to thrive in the future.

Young children need to receive warm and loving care, and we pride ourselves on the friendly and dedicated team of practitioners who deliver this. They have a wealth of knowledge about caring for young children, and many bring years of experience to the task of creating happy learners at Carousel.
All children are unique and develop at different rates. At Carousel we cater to each individual child’s needs, as dictated by their personality, their learning and development and any special educational needs they may have. Our practitioners work tirelessly to ensure that each child makes the necessary advancements before leaving our pre-school to start at primary school.
Our daughter has been at Carousel Day Nursery & Pre-School for around 18 months now and we’re very pleased with the nursery, facilities and her overall development. All the staff are fantastic and take great care of her. She’s excited every morning when we drop her off and it’s very comforting to know she’s in good hands. Communication is excellent through the WhatsApp group and we enjoy seeing her pictures on FB each day to see what activities she’s been involved in. We had our second child recently and given our positive experience overall, we have also enrolled him to start in September. Thank you to all the Carousel staff.

I’ve tried a few nurseries and Carousel Day Nursery is excellent.
Lovely team equipped with knowledge and certifications in childcare and development.
I was informed about my son’s daily progress.
Children engage in various activities to develop their reading skills and art skills.
Very low staff turnover which means that kids grow with the same teacher around. I think that is great.
It feels like a family.
My son would always cry to go but after a couple of weeks, he wouldn’t even say goodbye to me after drop off and walk right in excited to be there! Even now as we walk past he always points and says “that’s my old-school mommy!”
One of the best nurseries in Billericay. Possibly the best but I didn’t get to try all of the nurseries in Billericay to make such a statement but honestly, it’s really good.

All the staff have given our son lots of care and attention. He always cannot wait to attend nursery. The food is all home cooked.
All the staff have gone the extra mile for our son.
I cannot fault the communication, a WhatsApp group was set up between me, my wife and the nursery for individual updates.
